Privacy Statement

Protecting your personal data is very important to us. Therefore we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR / Austrian Telecommunications Act 2003). In this data protection notice, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the context of our website. This website contains links to other websites. Please note that this website functions in accordance with its own data protection regulations. Please refer to its data protection regulations when using this website. Please note that we do not assume any responsibility or liability whatsoever for others.

Contacting us

Whenever you contact us via a form (contact form, order enquiry or similar) on the website or via email, the data you provide will be stored for six months to allow processing of your enquiry and any follow-up questions. This data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to note that we also store order data, orders and status information for the purpose of contract processing. The data provided by you is required to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. A transfer of data to third parties does not take place with the exception of the transmission to a potential transport company / shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods as well as to our tax advisor to fulfil our tax obligations. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship are stored until the expiry of the fiscal retention period (7 years). The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the end of product liability (10 years). Data processing takes place on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 para. 1(a) (consent) and / or (b) (necessary for fulfilment of the contract) of the GDPR (DSGVO).

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device (PC, smart phone, tablet PC etc.) by your browser. The main purpose of cookies is identifying the user in order to tailor the provided content to the user’s needs. There are session cookies, which are only saved for the duration of the visit to the website, and permanent cookies (tracking cookies), which are saved for a longer period of time. They do not cause any detrimental effect. We use cookies to make our website as user-friendly as possible. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit. If you do not want this, you can change the settings on your browser so that you are informed when cookies are saved and you approve them on a case-by-case basis. Disabling the use of cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Web Beacons (Pixels Tags)

Our website and our newsletter may contain web beacons (also known as pixel tags). A web beacon is usually an invisible electronic image file (usually measuring only 1 x 1 pixel). This image file is embedded on a web page or in an email in order to record that this site or email has been accessed or viewed by a user.

Web-analysis

Our website uses web analytics services. These use cookies that enable an analysis of the use of the website by its users. The information generated by these cookies is transferred to the server of the provider and stored there. You may prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are saved. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider on contract data processing. Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a general localisation is possible. The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Para. 3 Telecommunications Act as well as Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. In the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest), our concern is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Since our users’ privacy is important to us, the user data are pseudonymised.

Your rights

You are generally entitled to the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you may complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

You can reach us using the contact details above.
