Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website. This website contains links to other websites. Please note that these websites have their own privacy policies. When using these websites, please check their privacy policies. Please note that we do not assume any responsibility or liability for others.

Contact us

If you contact us via a form (contact form, order enquiry, etc.) on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that we also store order data, orders and status information for the purpose of contract processing. The data you provide is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. No data is transferred to third parties, with the exception of any transport company/shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and our tax advisor for the fulfilment of our tax obligations. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase will also be stored until the expiry of the product liability period (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) lit. a (consent) and/or lit. b (necessary for the fulfilment of the contract) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device (PC, smartphone, tablet, etc.) with the help of your browser. The main purpose of a cookie is to recognise visitors in order to provide them with content tailored to their needs. There are session cookies, which are only stored for the duration of the website visit, and permanent cookies (tracking cookies), which are stored for a longer period of time. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit. If you do not want this, you can set your browser to inform you when cookies are set and only allow them in individual cases. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Matomo

This website uses the open source web analytics tool Matomo. Matomo enables us to collect and analyse data about how visitors use our website. This allows us to find out, among other things, when page views were made and which region they came from. We also collect various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browsers and operating systems used) and can measure whether our visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).

The use of Matomo is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

  • IP anonymisation: We use IP anonymisation for analysis with Matomo. Your IP address is shortened so that it can no longer be clearly assigned to you.
  • Analysis without cookies: Matomo is configured so that no cookies are stored in your browser.
  • Hosting: We host Matomo on our own servers, so all analysis data remains with us and is not passed on.

Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. To do so, we need your email address and your consent to receive the newsletter. In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process voluntarily provided information about your areas of interest, birthday and postcode. Once you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your subscription. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to our general email address. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, transfer, revoke and object to the processing of your data. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
